Romance for Real Women

Why a new blog? Because most romance blogs don’t deal with real women. That is, they’re too focused on one thing…sex…relationships…dating…toys…and so on.

Yawn.  Been there.  Got the T-shirt.

Although sometimes valuable on specific issues, these blogs ignore the context in which real women live and love.

Our interest is in all the topics having to do with romance that affect or interest real women ranging from sexy lingerie, food, books, cultural issues, work, children, dating and marriage. Just about anything.

So who is a real woman? Real women work hard in their jobs, but love romance. We read trashy books and we’re not above telling our partner that the sexy hero in a romance reminds us of him. We also have been known to dip into Shakespeare.  Voluntarily.

Real women love men, but aren’t above having a little fun at their expense.

Real women like dirty jokes, but are not amused by porn.

Real women “clean up good,” but only when we have to.

Real women have opinions and have been known to share them.  Asked and unasked.

We are serious, but don’t take ourselves too seriously.
